About us

Our club draws from Chicago, IL USA and the western suburbs.

The object of the Guild shall be to foster the art of needlework and to encourage a high standard of design and technique in appliqué, canvas work, drawn- and pulled work, machine stitchery, quilt making, surface stitchery, needle-made lace, and other textile techniques worked with a needle with an eye.

Unofficially, it consists of women from a variety of backgrounds, united by amazing creativity and an interest in learning from each other. We meet the third Monday of each month, Sept. through May, at 9:30 at the Western Springs Baptist Church near the downtown area for lectures and/or workshops. Additionally, informal meetings are held on the first Monday of each month in members' homes. Annual dues are $50. For more information, contact (630) 323-7030.
